railway > Docklands Light Railway
By far my favourite railway system in London is the DLR, or ‘Docklands Light Railway’, because the sections East of Shadwell are elevated above the London docklands and afford some of the best views of the city.
East India station is elevated, and is situated next to the busy A1261 road, which disappears behind the station into a tunnel.
Another train departs from Poplar, one of the interchange stations between different branches of the DLR.
