Starting from Black Sail, I walked back to Honister, taking in Haystacks on the way.

Here’s a wider picture of the hostel, which has only 16 beds. The Land Rover is the only vehicle allowed to access the hostel.

Then on to Great Round How, a flat, rocky hill.

Finally, after reaching Honister and the end of my route, I had enough time left for another trip to the top of Dale Head, to take in my favourite view once more.
