I enjoyed my first walk on Skirrid so much that, when I was passing the area again, I decided to go for a second walk on this oddly shaped hill. The gradient up the south side is shallow and ideal for walking; the gradient up the other sides is much steeper, making for a quicker and more difficult ascent or descent as preferred.
