2020-01-01 Fireworks

With no particular gatherings planned for New Year’s Eve, an alternative plan was hatched which involved walking up the small hill behind the town and watching the fireworks.

I have never tried photographing fireworks before, but I managed this shot using a tripod and a telephoto lens. A few pointers I’d read online indicated exposure settings of 2s, f/11, ISO 200, which was a little dark so I went for f/8.
