Conwy Castle is viewed from a distance across ponds at the RSPB reserve, Conwy. This was built from waste material from the nearby Conwy Tunnel, which carries the A55 discreetly past the historic town of Conwy.

The tide was out when I visited. This may have accounted for the lower than usual number of birds on the reserve.
