Great Western Railway Class 800 multiple units
Nine car No. 800305 snakes away from Honeybourne station with a service to London Paddington.
No. 800006 arrives at Pershore with a service for the capital.
The dark green of No. 800017 complements the dark orange of the autumn foliage as it approaches the former Fladbury station.
Despite the negative opinion of the Class 800 amongst some railway enthusiasts, nine car No. 800304 makes a magnificent sight as it approaches Cheltenham with a service from London Paddington.
The same unit, No. 800304, heads back south as it forms the next service from Cheltenham to the capital.
The low winter sun barely illuminates No. 800303 as it departs Cheltenham with a service for London Paddington.
A sunny winter morning sees No. 800321 pass Defford with the Saturday morning service from Worcester Shrub Hill to London Paddington via Cheltenham. This is the first photograph I have of this particular service being worked by a Class 800, as for the past few Saturdays, the weather had not been conducive to good photography.
An unidentified 800 passes Wyre Piddle on the approach to Pershore. My first idea for a viewpoint at this location was unavailable because some bean canes had been put up. However, it forced me to expolore this view instead, which I prefer anyway.
No. 800013 passes the road bridge at Wyre Piddle. This location has recently been cleared of vegetation, greatly improving the view.
