A day hiking around the Langdale Pikes
My final day in the Lake District was spent hiking around the Langdale Pikes. There’s a long, steep climb from the car park to Stickle Tarn to begin with, but once that’s over, the climbing comes in shorter bursts. Here is a view from near Pike of Stickle, looking towards Blea Tarn.
This is an atmospheric view of Wrynose Fell; I was very lucky to get this combination of sun and cloud.
Finally, a view of Windermere, taken on the way back down.
