I spent the fourth weekend of July 2022 in Broad Haven, Pembrokeshire, staying at the YHA. It’s a seaside village which I’ve visited many times before. On this visit, it rained for almost the entire time I was there. As well as being unfortunate for me, this seems very unlikely, with the village being located on the coast and my visit being made in the middle of Summer.

Despite the rain, I followed my original plan to take a few short walks around the area, though while I had planned to spend time sat on the beach reading a book, I retired to the YHA cafe for that activity. Here’s a picture of the village from one of the walks that I took towards Druidstone, and then cut short due to the weather.

I got a little too close to these seagulls and startled them, which resulted in an interesting picture.

Thankfully, the weather did brighten up later in the day, and I managed to capture this spectacular sky behind the old hotel (my name for the seafront apartments).
