Tynemouth and Cullercoats

Work took me to central Newcastle, so what else better to do with a January afternoon than catch the Tyne & Wear Metro to Tynemouth for a walk on the beach. Clearly, a lot of people, especially dog walkers, thought the same.

Walking north along the coast from Tynemouth, the village of Cullercoats is soon reached. Look closely, there are people swimming, in January.
