Derwent Reservoir

On my way back from Newcastle, I stopped briefly at the Derwent Reservoir. Not to be confused with similarly named places in the Lake District or the Peak District, this one is new Newcastle, on the northern border of County Durham.

The drive away from the reservoir took me along some roads with spectacular scenery. Here is my view from next to a model glider club.
