A brief visit to the National Railway Museum, York, to see the recently reopened Station Hall section of the museum.

A view showing the intricate ceiling of the station hall. The sign hanging from the ceiling, ‘Crook’, likely refers to Crook station, near Durham, which closed in 1965.

Photographing the locomotives in the Station Hall is tricky due to their positioning, but here is a view of LSWR No. 245 (later British Railways No. 30245).
