yha by train > Bristol
The railway arrived early in Bristol, with trains first running between London and Bristol in 1841. Since then, Bristol has become will connected and in easy reach of London, Birmingham, Cardiff, Portsmouth and the South West.
Part of the spectacular station roof at Bristol Temple Meads station. This is not the original terminus station, but part of the significant extension and rebuilding of the original station which commenced in the 1870s.

It is a pleasant walk from the station to the YHA, passing Bristol’s famous Floating Harbour. The M-Shed, one of Bristol’s free to visit museums, stands on the opposite side of the harbour from the YHA.
