Bedford Station

A Class 180 ‘Adelante’ speeds through Bedford Station. This class, of which only fourteen sets were built, have been employed on First Great Western, Hull Trains, Grand Central and now East Midlands Railway. It was confirmed in March 2023 that the EMR Class 180 fleet will be withdrawn at the May 2023 timetable change, so this photograph was taken close to the unit being withdrawn.
