North Norfolk Railway

Summer Sundays on the North Norfolk Railway often feature Victorian trains, in addition to the more recent steam and diesel hauled trains found on most heritage railways. It was the Victorian train that drew me to visit the railway on this particular day.

The Victorian train is hauled by Wissington, and arrives at Weybourne station.

A diesel railcar stands at Weybourne station. Most trains on the North Norfolk Railway will pass another at Weybourne, at roughly the midpoint of their journey.

Another view of Wissington, slowing to stop at Weybourne station. The fireman holds out the single line token.

Finally, after a busy day riding around on trains, there is another glorious sunset over the sea at Sheringham.
